Eligibility Criteria :
  • Educational Qualification : Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+02 examination system recognized by Board i.e. COBSE/India or any other recognized Board with minimum 50% marks (excluding additional subjects) and ITI certificate in the relevant trade affiliated to NCVT compulsory in relevant trade.
  • Nationality : Indian
  • Age Limit : 15 to 24 Years age as on 01.01.2015.
Selection Process : Engagement of Act. Apprentices will be done only on the basis of marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination or 10th class in the 10+2 Examination system and minimum marks of eligibility shall be kept at 50% in aggregate (excluding additional subject) and having ITI certificate in the relevant trade is compulsory.

Application Fee : An account payee Bank Draft on any Nationalized Bank or Postal order drawn in favour of FA & CAO, South Eastern Railway/Garden Reach, payable at Kolkata. No Bank Draft/P.O. is required for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Ex.Service man, Women, Minorities & Economically backward classes.

How to Apply : Interested candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with one passport size photograph, Copies of all certificates viz. proof of date of birth, educational / technical qualification Certificate, Mark sheet of Matriculation, Caste Certificate, PH Certificate,
Ex-Servicemen Certificate, OBC Certificate, creamy Layer Certificate duly self attested and also by a Gazetted Officer of Central or State Govt. and bearing office seal, send to Workshop Personnel Officer, South Eastern Railway, Kharagpur, District- Paschim Medinipur, Pin Code 721301, West Bengal on or before 08.06.2015.
